The National Museum of Civil War Medicine is dedicated to studying and interpreting the medical history of the war, and in turn educating the public about these discoveries. The museum features exhibits that focus on medical artifacts, books, manuscripts and other items from the Civil War, from the years 1861 through to 1865, including a replica of a medical officer's tent. Guided tours of the museum may be arranged.
